In the Nov. 18 issue of the Gretna Breeze and posted on our Web site, I made unfair comments about the Gretna High School band. My overreaction and needless comments about the band has caused deserved disappointment with the Breeze from some parents and supporters of those band members.

The Marcus High School band surpassed even its own expectations last weekend. Marcus placed fourth out of 92 teams at the Bands of America Grand Nationals, which took place Thursday through Saturday at Lucas Oil Stadium in Indianapolis.
