Robert Duke of the University of Texas at Austin and James Byo of Louisiana State University have produced a FREE band method based on what they call the Habits of Musicianship.
The concepts and methodology behind this new band method is unlike anything that most band directors have seen before. They approach beginning band in a way that totally makes sense and is a great departure from the way all of us were taught as students. The web site has a resources link that provides access to the Habits of Musicianship documentation including descriptions of how to use the method and why it is so radically different.
