Fine Music Till Dawn
Written by Tel Asiado
MotiverdiWelcome!  Fine Music Till Dawn aims to share insights about classical music mainly from late 1000 (Hildegard of Bingen), Renaissance (Monteverdi), Baroque (Bach, Handel), through the Romantic period. I might include early Modern (Britten, Copland, Bernstein) although I have to warn my readers that this writer is somehow inclined to the Classical period, in particular, Mozart and his contemporaries. Focus will be on the historical events, along with the lives and works of the masters.

Quality music or "Fine Music" as this blog gently indicates, deserves more than just a casual listening. Hearing the flow of a Mozart concerto, be it piano or violin, Beethoven's 9th Symphony or Schubert's melodies, can create either an intensity of serenity or perhaps cataclysm. Such is the power of music, classical or not.

Behind the making of masterpieces, there is a need to dip into the history of music, and in particular, into the lives and works of these brilliant composers, performers of their music, and occasionally their other curiosities. Then music can take on greater depth and meaning.  This corner is related to my older blog, Classical Music Lounge. I can be contacted from my inspiredpen.4t.com homepage.

Would love to hear from you, as we share a common love for fine music. Enjoy!
