From first sight the CPS20 Professional Guitar Gig Bag projects a sense of strength and style. The company has made good use of a strong, durable polyester casing enhanced with lots of interior padding to cushion the guitar. Aside from the obvious quality and durable nature of the bag, one is immediately drawn to just how many useful accents have been added to it. Storage compartments are everywhere, and redundant closures (both velcro and plastic snaps) lock valuable accessories inside.

The bag is obviously intended for the serious guitarist but any musician with a need to protect their instrument while still easily transporting it will benefit. In tests the bag held up very well, taking normal daily wear and tear with almost no visible signs. Protection of the guitar was more than adequate, even when we were forced to store the bag and instrument in the luggage compartment of a bus. While the manufacturer touts the bags ability to hold a laptop in one of its compartments it should be noted that the amount of padding on the outside of this compartment is rather thin compared with the interior of the guitar case. If the buyer chooses to store a laptop in this compartment it might be a good idea to store the computer it a separate sleeve with a little additional padding before putting it inside the bag.
