Have Students Mark Their Music

Have students mark their music or lead sheets with colored pencils. Use one color for dynamics, one color for tempo changes, one color for accidentals, etc. At the end of the concert collect these lead sheets to use as an assessment tool. - Marguerite Wilder, GIA Publications.
