When I first reviewed eMedia's Piano and Keyboard Method a few years ago I was impressed, but not overly so.  The program was useful but it had a few features that I had thought at the time needed to be improved upon.  Fast forward to  now and the new version seems to have addressed many of those drawbacks, resulting in a more robust and useful product that fills its role well.

eMedia's My Violin software builds on the successes of the company's growing My Music line of instructional software.

The newest release from eMedia, My Piano is a fun, well thought out software based method for learning piano for the total beginner.   Built for ages 6 and up, this MIDI capable program brings piano instruction to the masses.

There are many different online web sites that promise to teach you how to learn to play the guitar.  Few deliver on their promise, especially for younger students.  eMedia's My Guitar software however is a refreshing change to traditional learn to play an instrument software titles.  Using a combination of live demonstration videos along with fun animated characters the My Guitar software ranks highly as a product that actually makes good on its promise to both entertain and educate.

Unlike online piano tutoring software the eMedia Piano and Keyboard Method does an excellent job teaching beginners how to play the piano as well as including vital theory and aural training concepts in the process.
